Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Yangfan VPN (the 'Service', 'we', or 'us') collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you download, install, or use the mobile application (the 'App'). We process data according to the minimum necessary principle and protect privacy within the scope of this policy.

When you launch the App, we may collect information needed to operate the Service, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and session duration. To recommend suitable routes, we may process approximate location information. This data is used for: 1. Route recommendation based on Yangfan VPN's node distribution; 2. Performance optimization through anonymized aggregate trends; 3. Service notices such as security alerts, version updates, or account messages sent through your reserved email or username.

We only transmit aggregated or anonymized data to necessary third-party providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, stability monitoring, and feature improvement. We do not share identifiable personal information except when: 1. Required by legal process or regulation; 2. Necessary to protect users, the public, or service security; 3. Working with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. After you uninstall the App, it will no longer generate new operational data.

User-provided data is retained during the service period and a reasonable grace period afterward. To close your account or delete personal profile data, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover that such data was collected by mistake, we will delete it as soon as practical. We use access controls, encrypted transmission, and operational monitoring to reduce data leakage risk.

This Privacy Policy may be updated due to regulatory requirements, product changes, or operational needs. Please review this page regularly. Continued use after changes are published means you accept the updated policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025. Questions or suggestions about privacy handling may be sent to the Yangfan VPN team by email ([email protected]).
